Missing Incentive / Completed Activities Without Incentives

In some situations, an activity may appear completed in the system but does not qualify for incentives due to quality, validity, quota, or eligibility checks.

 Quality and validity reasons

Common reasons a completed activity may not be incentivised include:

Low‑quality or inconsistent responses

  • Answers may be very short, off‑topic, or inconsistent with earlier information.
  • The activity may not meet the minimum quality standards required for inclusion in the study results or for incentives.
AI‑generated or non‑genuine responses
  • Our quality checks may detect patterns suggesting responses were generated by AI tools or copied from external sources.
  • For the integrity of the research, we can only incentivise authentic, individual contributions.
Duplicate responses or multiple entries
  • If the same participant (or same device/account) submits multiple responses to the same activity, only the valid entry may be considered.
  • Duplicate or repeated entries may be excluded from incentives.

Partial completion or missing key sections
  • The activity may show as completed at a technical level, but required questions or tasks were left unanswered or skipped.
  • If essential sections are not filled in, the activity may be treated as partially completed and may not qualify for incentives.

Quota and eligibility reasons

In some activities, incentives are only provided when specific quotas or eligibility criteria are met.

  • If your responses fall outside the required profile or are submitted after the quota is full, the system may still show completion for technical reasons, but no incentive is awarded.
  • Incentives are not offered if the activity you tried to complete was actually in a “Quota Full” or “In Progress” status, even if it may erroneously appear as “Completed” in the community view.
