Activities Showing 99% or "In Progress"

Sometimes an activity appears almost completed (e.g., 99%) or still shows "In Progress" even though you believe you have finished all questions. Common reasons:

Unanswered required questions

• There may still be a required question that has not been answered or properly registered. 1317
• Check all pages for:
• Red asterisk (*) or messages like "This question is required".
• Ensure each required question has a valid answer. 

Incomplete tasks or failed uploads

• Some activities include tasks such as uploading images/videos, attaching files, or adding comments.
• If an upload fails (wrong format, too large, or not fully uploaded), the system may treat the task as incomplete and keep the activity at 99% or In Progress. 

Final Submit/Finish button not clicked

• Activities often have a final Submit, Finish, or Complete button.
• If the last page is closed or refreshed before clicking it, the activity can appear almost finished but not fully submitted. 
• Refresh the page and check if a final confirmation step is still required. 

Backend checks and processing

• After completion, your participation may go through internal checks for completeness, quality, eligibility, and quota. 
• While these checks are ongoing, the system may temporarily show the status as "In Progress", even though you have submitted all answers. 

Multi‑part or streamed activities

• Some projects consist of multiple parts or streams under the same activity.
• If at least one part or task is still open or pending, the overall activity may remain marked as "In Progress", even if you have completed one or more sections. 

Technical delay or incomplete registration

• Occasionally there is a delay or sync issue between completion and status update. This usually resolves automatically after a short period. 
• In some cases, the last page or confirmation step may not have been fully registered (for example, if the browser was closed too early or an error occurred).
